4-02 Box, 07:35, Rescue Engine 42 was dispatched to the intersection of Pulliam Lane and Mattapany Road in St. James for the motor vehicle accident. Engine 141 arrived first and advised a vehicle was into a utility pole with one patient. Chief 4A and Rescue Engine 42 arrived and assisted crews with patient assessment. Due to the condition of the vehicle and injuries to the patients head, a medevac helicopter was requested to transport the patient to the nearest trauma center. Engine 43 responded to St. Mary’s College and set up a landing site on the soccer fields. The patient was loaded on MSP Trooper 7 and transported to PG Shock Trauma. Units cleared at 08:24.
