On Thursday, June 23, 2016, members of the Fire Prevention Crew attended the Teddy Bear Clinic at the Blue Crabs Stadium in
Charles County. The clinic is designed to patch up and make the children's stuffed animals feel better. EMS personnel bandaged up stuffed animals for the children. They gave away new stuffed animals along with bandages, first aid, and fire prevention materials. George Franklin, Freida Franklin, James Raley, Mary Raley, and Francis Raley took the fire prevention trailer and taught the kids how to escape out a window and how to dial "911" and what to tell the dispatcher. They had approximately 42 participants come through the trailer.
