By Assistant Fire Chief Eddie Raley
December 27, 2016

Home fires occur more in winter than any other season. According to the National Fire Protection Association, nearly half of electrical fire deaths happen in December through March. Heating equipment is involved in one in every five home fire deaths. Please review the attached documents provided by NFPA and The U.S. Fire Administration and as you stay cozy and warm this winter season, BE FIRE SMART!
