4-05 Box, 04:33 - Ridge units responded to the area of 17885 St. Jeromes Neck Road in Dameron for the reported motor vehicle accident with a vehicle on fire. Chief 4 arrived at 04:44, assumed the Dameron command and reported the vehicle had burned out however there was an estimated acre of woodland on fire. Squad 4, Engine 141, and Engine 43 arrived and started extinguishment of the woods fire. Additional brush units and tankers were called to the scene as well. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office. Units cleared at 06:34.
