The Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department held an Open House Sunday October 8, 2017. The Ridge Volunteer Fire Department was invited to bring the Fire Prevention trailer to the event. Company 7 displayed their large fleet of fire apparatus, featuring the 100 foot Ladder Truck 7. The Ladies Auxiliary provided refreshments and SPARKY provided photo opportunities. The Ridge Fire Prevention trailer demonstrated how to escape from a burning building safely. We emphasized the importance pf having a fire escape plan. Handouts were given to the guests. Company 7 demonstrated how water is flowed from an engine with an attack line to a simulated target.
