4-02 Box, 18:30- Squad 4 was dispatched to the area of 48284 Mattapany Road for the reported serious motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle into a pole. Chief 1B arrived on location at 18:35 and advised there was a vehicle on its side into a pole with a victim laying in the roadway. Squad 4 and Engine 141 arrived at 18:40 and began patient care of the two patients that were both out of the vehicle. A helicopter was requested due to the severity of the victims. EMS from Ridge Rescue Squad and Lexington Park Rescue Squad packaged both patients for transport. Both patients were flown to MedStar Washington. Units cleared at 19:26.
