4-01 Box, 01:46 - Squad 4 was dispatched to the area of the intersection of Mattapany Road and Point Lookout Road for the reported motor vehicle accident with a subject ejected from the vehicle. Chief 4 arrived on location and advised incoming units that he had a vehicle overturned with one patient ejected from the vehicle, power lines down and he then established the St. Mary's City Command. Engine 141 and Medic 18 arrived shortly after and began patient assessment. Engine 41 arrived and assisted with patient care and secured the vehicle. The victim was packaged on a backboard and loaded into Ridge VRS ambulance for further evaluation. Due to the patients condition a helicopter was requested to transport the patient to a trauma center. Engine 41 set up the landing site in a nearby field. Units cleared at 02:26.
