4-03 Box, 23:10 - Ridge units were dispatched to the area of 14970 Point Lookout Road in St. Inigoes for the reported MVC with injuries. Chief 4A arrived and confirmed a vehicle on its side with one trapped inside. He also reported utility lines were down and established command. Engine 41 and Engine 141 arrived and began vehicle stabilization and extrication of the victim. Engine 43 and Utility 4A arrived and assisted crews as well.

The patient was extricated within 23 minutes and taken to the hospital by Ridge VRS. Command requested SMECO / Verizon to the scene due to a pole snapped in half. The accident is under investigation by the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office.

Units cleared at 11:57.
