Tanker 4 Proudly Placed In Service |

| At 1930 on 12/13, the officers and members of the Ridge Volunteer Fire Department proudly placed in service a 2011 Peterbilt 367 3000 gallon dry side tanker, built on a Pierce Manufacturing body. This unit will be designated as Tanker 4. Tanker 4 features a Cummins ISX-15 motor, coupled to an Allison EVS4000 transmission. In addition to 3000 gallons of water, Tanker 4 is also carrying 40 gallons of foam. The tanker is also equipped with two (red and yellow) 200" 1 3/4' speed lays, in addition to a 200" booster reel. The unit also comes equipped with two Scott SCBA air packs, as well as a Husky foam system, with a Husky 3000 gallon folding tank. This unit also comes equipped with an all Whelen LED light package, as well as a Roto-Ray, Federal Signal 200w speaker, a Powercall 6-Adam siren and a Federal Q2B electro-mechanical siren. |
