| On Thursday May 10, 2012, the 9th annual Ridge VFD golf tournament took place at the Wicomico Shores Golf Course in Mechanicsville, Md. It was a nice sunny day but quite breezy. The course was in great shape and tested by thirty avid golfers. Coffee and doughnuts were provided before the start and refreshments were enjoyed by all throughout the day., Upon completion a delicious luncheon was provided by Smokey Joe's. The WINNERS WERE: The longest drive was on #12 by Brandon Gronert.
The closest to the pin was on #8 by Sam Schader.
1st place: Bernie Taylor, Rory Feicht. Tim Ridgell and
Steven Caldwell.
2nd place: Mike Martin, Jonathon Clear, Jacob Gottshalk
and Brandon Gronert.
3rd place: Lawrence Pilkerton and Bunky Taylor
