On Monday, April 24th members of the "Fightin Four" conducted a multi-task training drill. The scenario was a fully involved vehicle fire in which the fire extended into a large nearby building. Crews divided up on each Engine and were assigned by Command different tasks. Engine 43's crew arrived, performed a size-up, announced layout and began attack on the simulated vehicle fire utilizing pre-connected handlines. Engine 44 and Tanker 4 arrived shortly after and began setting up folding tank operations due to the increase in fire with the exposure. Water supply was established in a quick timeframe. Engine 42 arrived and began interior and roof operations on the simulated burning structure. During the middle of the evolution a Mayday was transmitted and the assigned RIT Team utilized RIT tools that were pre-staged to perform the rescue.

This same scenario was ran again but the overall control time was much quicker. This drill reviewed several training topics including ICS, RIT Operations, Mayday Operations, Handline Operations, and Water Supply / Portable Tank Operations.
