Engine 141 arrived shortly after and both crews began interior and exterior fire attack. Tanker 4 arrived and supplied water to Engine 141 until a draft was established by Engine 44 from a nearby pond. Fire also spread to nearby brush. The fire was under control in 7 minutes. Crews continued extensive mop up and cleared the scene at 18:36.
