Sunday morning a group of the Ridge VFD members and helpers gathered at our quarters and cleaned and readied the decorations for the 2014 Christmas Season. Deputy Chief Ray Mercure got his committee out in force and got it done. That magic moment for the kids is just about here. This will be the annual gaithering of new and old friends alike. Remember Friday night December 5. There will be entertainment and lots to see and activities for the kids. Photos with Mr. & Mrs. Claus and cookies and lemonade for everyone. You are asked to bring canned goods of food for the less fortunate citizens in our community. Come out and take part in the Community Christmas Tree Lighting.
