Motor Vehicle Accident - Rod & Reel, Dameron

4-02 Box, 00:41 - Squad 4 responded to 18161 Three Notch Road in Dameron for a reported motor vehicle accident involving a single vehicle with subjects trapped. Chief 4 arrived at 00:48, established command and reported a single vehicle on its side in the parking lot of the Rod and Reel Store. He reported 1 patient out of the vehicle with injuries. Squad 4 arrived on location and assisted Ambulance 497 with patient care. Engine 141 (NDWFD) arrived shortly after to stabilize and secure the vehicle. Medic 4 requested the victim to be flown to a trauma center due to his injuries. Command requested MSP Aviation Trooper 7 for a priority 2, Category Charlie fly-out. Engine 43 set up the landing site at St. Michael's School in Ridge where the patient was loaded. Trooper 7 transported the victim to PG General Hospital. The accident is under investigation by the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office. Units cleared at 01:53.
