4-02 Box, 9:37 - Squad 4 was dispatched to the area of Mattapany Road and Three Notch Road in St. James for the reported motor vehicle accident involving a dump truck and passenger car. Safety 4A Francis Raley arrived at 9:42 and reported both vehicles off the roadway with all occupants out of their vehicles. He reported one subject with a laceration complaining of back pain and established command till the arrival of Chief 4. NDWFD Engine 141 (Captain Tom Trossbach) and Squad 4 (Deputy Fire Chief Ray Mercure) arrived on location and began patient assessment. Crews assisted the ambulance companies from Lexington Park and Ridge to package the patient for transport. Additional crews secured the vehicles and assisted with traffic enforcement. One patient was transported to SMH and another patient refused treatment at the scene. Units cleared at 10:02.
