4-08 Box, 15:53 - Ridge units were dispatched to the area of the 14000 block of Cornfield Harbor Road in Scotland for the reported vehicle fire. Firefighter Tyler Mercure arrived POV and contacted communications to request brush units. Engine 41 arrived at 16:03 and began extinguishing the vehicle fire. Tanker 4 arrived and supplied Engine 41. Crews from Engine 141, Squad 4 and Brush 4 assisted with extinguishing the nearby brush that was ignited due to the vehicle fire. The incident is under investigation by the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office. Engine 41 cleared at 17:40.
