Motor Vehicle Accident with Entrapment - St. James

4-02 Box, 16:22 - Squad 4 was dispatched to 19221 Three Notch Road in Lexington Park for a motor vehicle accident, reported serious. Units responding were advised that the vehicle was off the roadway with one subject trapped. Chief 4A arrived on location and confirmed one subject trapped in the vehicle, not breathing. Chief 4 arrived and established the command. Squad 4 and Engine 141 arrived and started extrication and patient care. Crews from Engine 41, Engine 43 and Squad 3 assisted with extrication and traffic. The patient was extricated from the vehicle within 6 minutes and patient care was turned over to crews from Ambulance 496, Ambulance 397 and Medic 139. The patient was transported to St. Mary's Hospital by Ambulance 496.
