Welcome to the Ridge Volunteer Fire Department Community Social event. As you look around the grounds, you may notice that many of the events are very much the same as our annual carnival. That is because, for the most part, this event is very much in align with our carnival. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we were not able to secure a vendor to provide carnival rides for your enjoyment. We plan to continue to reach out to other Midway vendors in the future.

This department depends greatly on the support of our community. Our fundraisers would not be successful without you. For that reason, the department wanted to provide the community with a similar event as the carnival to continue the tradition of providing you with the opportunity to not only support us but to come out and meet and greet with your friends and neighbors. We hope that you enjoy your time with us this weekend.

Don’t forget to visit the nightly prize stand and sign up the children for a chance to win a free bike. Children must be present to win.

The auxiliary will be selling their crab cakes as well. Quantities are limited each night so make sure you visit their stand early. They will also have their normal carnival menu as well.

The carnival tradition of raffling nightly prizes will continue with the community social. Please visit the stand and take a chance on some nice prizes. Winner must be present to win.

There will be a nightly 50/50 raffle. After the nightly prizes have been awarded, the winner of that night’s 50/50 will be drawn. Chances are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00 and can be purchased in the nightly prize stand. Winner must be present to win.

The department is also holding a raffle for a Green Mountain Grills Pellet Smoker with $100.00 cash. This prize is worth $500.00. Tickets are $5.00 each. Winner will be announced on Sunday, September 11th, at the end of the social activities. Winner does not have to be present to win.
