4-02 Box, 06:31 - Squad 4 was dispatched to the intersection of Mattapany Road and Three Notch Road for the reported motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles. Captain 4A arrived on the scene at 06:37 and reported one vehicle in the roadway and one vehicle off the roadway with three patients injured. Squad 4 and Engine 141 arrived at 06:42 and began patient assessment and securing the vehicles involved. Chief 4 arrived and assumed the command at 06:41.Trooper 7 was activated to fly one patient to a trauma center due to their injuries.The landing site was set up at St. Mary's College. Two other patients were transported by Ambulance 387C and Ambulance 496 to St. Mary's Hospital with minor injuries. Units assisted with cleanup and went in service at 07:35.
