4-01 Box, 07:43 - Ridge VFD was dispatched to the 18000 block of Kohut Way in St. Mary's City for the reported garage fire. Chief 4 arrived at 07:52 and reported a garage with fire showing from side bravo. E-141 laid out the supply line from the hallway point of the long driveway and arrived at 07:54. Engine 31 laid the other half of the driveway and picked up 141's line. Engine 41 arrived and assisted 141's crew with an aggressive interior attack. Other mutual aid units arrived and made their way down the long driveway to assist as well. Chief 4 reported the fire under control within 35 minutes. SMECO was called to the scene to disconnect power to the garage. After an extensive overhaul, units went in service at 10:54.
