4-06 Box, 01:58- MSU-4 was dispatched to 48673 Trapp Road at Monks Inn Tavern in St. Inigoes to assist Ridge Rescue Squad with a victim injured from a gunshot wound. Units on the scene reported the victim was shot once in the back of the neck and needed to be transported by helicopter. Engine 43 set up a landing site at the scene and the patient was airlifted to Prince George's Hospital Shock Trauma Unit by MSP Trooper 7. Engine 42 was requested to provide lighting. The incident is still under investigation by the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department. Units cleared at 04:42.
