Paul R. "Bobby" Balta Jr. Elected 2nd Vice President

Ridge VFD's very own Vice President, Bobby Balta, was elected to the 2nd Vice Presidency of the Maryland State Firemen's Association at it's 112th (2004) Annual Convention and Conference in Ocean City. His better than 4 to 1 victory was accomplished after a narrow loss in 2003 of 24 votes. Many hours and miles over the past two years, visiting numerous Fire Departments throughout Maryland have resulted in Bobby's attaining the third highest office in Maryland's Volunteer Emergency Service. Bobby is very dedicated to the betterment of emergency service for the citizens of the great State of Maryland.
