Sparky and a crew of Ridge Volunteer Fire Dept members went to a Birthday Party in St. Mary's City Saturday May 6, 2006. The Berry family hosted a party for their daughter Ashley. About fifty neighbors, family members and kids enjoyed the festivities. There were pony rides, games, trampoline and a sprinkler service from Engine 42's 1 3/4" attack line. Refreshments were provided and enjoyed by everyone. The crew was headed by Fire Prevention Chairman Matt Ridgell, Lt Darius Hawkins, Firefighters George Franklin and Robert Simmons.
