4-09 Box, 08:16 - Company 4 was alerted for a motor vehicle accident with injuries on the causeway at Point Lookout State Park. Rescue Engine 42 and Engine 43 responded within minutes. Captain 4 responded to the scene and informed all incoming units that there was one vehicle involved with one occupant injuried and one that would not require medical assistance. The vehicle had gone off the roadway and collided with the rocky embankment, preventing it from entering the Chesapeake Bay waters. The single patient was treated by medical personnel from Engine 42 and Ambulance 499 and transported to St. Mary's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Chief 4 Francis Raley held the Point Lookout command.
