On Sunday November 5, 2006 crews from Ridge VFD and Bay District VFD performed a live fire training exercise at a dwelling in St. Mary's City, MD. Several evolutions were performed in two separate rooms. Crews were able to practice different suppression techniques as well as experience wild fire behavior. The structure was donated for demolishment so a future home can be built on the lot. We like to thank the land owner for the donation and Bay District for assisting us with this training opportunity.
