By Firefighter David Morris
June 3, 2009

Shortly before 1255, Rescue Box 4-02 was dispatched at Route 5 (Point Lookout Road) and Mattapany Road for the motor vehicle accident, people trapped. Command 4 (Assistant Chief Raley) marked up shortly after dispatch and was advised of two vehicles, with unknown people trapped but people still in the vehicle.
With this information, Command 4 advised to start the next due tool. Squad 3 was then alerted. Fireboard advised of a corrected location of Route 235 (Three Notch Road) and Mattapany Road. Engine 42 (Lt Hawkins) marked up soon after. Lt 49 (Barickman) and Safety 4 (Raley) arrived on the scene together and advised of two vehicles, one in a ditch with one person still in the vehicle. Engine 42 and Squad 3 arrived and began patient care on the vehicle in the ditch.
All patients were removed from the vehicle quickly and one patient was packaged for transport to SMH, priority 2. Command was terminated and units cleared shortly after.
