At 21:03 hours, The Fightin' Four was alerted for the personal injury accident in the area of Three Notch Rd and Hill House Farm Lane in St. James reporting one vehicle into the woods with injuries. Rescue Engine 42 and Engine 43 responded with a total of 13 personal moments after dispatch. Assistant Chief Raley in Command 4 arrived on scene, confirmed one car into the woods, and established command. Engine 42 reported a total of three patients to be checked out. Medical personnel on the scene assessed the patients and advised command that there was going to be one transport and two signed releases. Operations, held by Deputy Fire Chief Mercure, advised to hold it with Company 4 and 49 units and to return the rest. Engine 42 secured and stabilized the vehicle, and Engine 43 handled the sign releases. Ambulance 497, with the help of Engine 42's crew, packaged and loaded the patient for transport to St. Mary's. Command was terminated and units returned to quarters.
