| On a beautiful and sunny day, the Ridge VFD held it's eighth annual golf tournament. The golf tournament committee, headed up by chairperson Bertie Birch, did an outstanding job preparing and ultimately delivering a very successful tournament.
Tee off began at 0900 with 12 teams scattered throughout the course. During the course of the day, numerous good, and not so good, shots were made. In fact, it was reported you could hear the groan and cheers all over the golf course (though, I think it was more groans than cheers). Overall, the day was incredibly good and a good time was had by all. We'd like to thank the following sponsors for making the tournament possible:
