By Firefighter / EMT-B David Morris
July 2, 2012

At 2311, Area box 3-08 was dispatched for 20096 Manor Drive, in Park Hall, for the reported house fire. The assignment bought engine companies 3, 9, 6 & 4, Truck 3, Water Supply 5 & Ambulances 399 and 389 to the scene.

Within two minutes, Engine 44 (Chief 4A Raley) was on the road with five, followed shortly behind by Engine 43 (Chief 4B Mercure) with an additional six. Engine 32 was first to arrive, dropping a line at Manor Rd and Point Lookout Road advising the next in to pick it up. Engine 32 and Safety 3 went on location together advising of a two story, split foyer, with smoke showing. Engine 44 arrived immediately behind Truck 3, picking up 32's line while sending their crew up to the scene.

Once at the scene, the crew from 44 went inside and began searches. After searches proved negative, both crews from 4 began opening up and assisting with overhaul. With this, command held Engines 32, 44, 43, 93 and Truck 3. After this was complete, crews racked up and all units were in service.

FF/EMT David Morris
FF Donte Blackwell

Engine 43:
