The Ridge Volunteer Fire Department had visited this day care center preveously on July 12, 2012. At that time we left some crayons and pictures to be colored and judged for a contest. On September 20, 2012, four members of our fire prevention team came back and judged and awarded prize ribbons to the winners. The kids were taking their afternoon naps, so we were unable to get photos of the winners.
The members attending were: Life members Peggy Vallandingham, Margie Cooper, Associate member Frieda Franklin and Firefighter George Franklin.
