Southern Maryland Fireman's Association Ladies Auxiliary at RVFD

On April 6, 2005, The Southern Maryland Fireman's Association Ladies Auxiliary held their regular meeting at the Ridge Volunteer Fire Department. SMVFALA President Nancy Jones opened the meeting and the assembly was greeted by RVFD Auxiliary President Margie Cooper and RVFD Vice President Bobby Balta. This meeting marked the first time that the SMVFALA has met in Ridge. After the introduction of the guests and serving of the meal, the ladies participated in many discussions concerning the welfare of the Association and its future projects. Elections for officers to be installed in May were held and one of our own, Becky Wathen, was elected as Treasurer. Congratulations Becky!
