On October 16th, members from the Fightin 4 participated in the Bowles Farm Appreciation day. Engine 42 along with Utility 4 participated with a total of 6 firefighters. The day consisted of numerous activities including the popular Corn Maze, which this year was dedicated to the County Fire and Rescue Departments. Along with the maze there were activities put on for the public. The Fightin 4 demonstrated vehicle extrication, showing the public how we would extricate them if they were trapped. Also on hand were numerous fire prevention display tables set up with important information for children with this years theme in mind... "When you go out...blow out". It was a fun day for all who attended!!
